First, the lady deliberately decided to do additional services (which were pretty much worthless anyways) such as a supposed head massage (which consisted basically in letting my hair rest in some conditioner or sth for 10 mins) and a hair drying (which I asked to by natural and ended up being exactly the opposite: all flat and straightened with a brush). At no point was I informed of additional costs during the service. Not at all. Ended up paying DOUBLE what I was supposed to pay. I found that very disrespectful. I wrote a complaint after my appointment and never received a response from them. Would not recommend at all, especially if you don't want to spend over 100 bucks to get a basic haircut.

Very good barber and also very nice people. Only thing i can complain about, is that its quite pricey. Although nothing unusual for the quality of cut.

I only came to Varibelle Schiflande Basel the last several years to have my hair done (colour, cut) as is the best in the region. Very qualified, friendly and professionals team of young people. I highly recommend everyone. Excellent for children too. Gyslaine is definitely my favorite as she is a real and rare talent, advising and working brilliantly getting the best you can have out of your hair and always with a smile! You cannot ask for more!
For 3 years I only went to Ghislaine for my hair cuts. I am more than satisfied with the haircut i get everytime and she remembers my preferred hair length. I’ve also died and bleached my hair and everytime I did she noted the mixture and gave helpful and honest recommendations. She is very professional and always makes me happy. She is so kind and sweet and I am very happy to visit her regularly. The hair salon is conveniently located next to a tram stop as well and it’s always clean, I feel very comfortable there. I really recommend this place!
